By accessing playbyte.site and/or purchasing PlayByte, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our Site or purchase our products.

2. Product Description

PlayByte is a premium WordPress theme designed for HTML5 game portals. The product includes:

  • The PlayByte WordPress theme (ZIP file)
  • The PlayByte Game Importer plugin
  • Documentation and setup instructions
  • Lifetime updates for the purchased version

3. License

3.1 Grant of License

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PlayByte on one (1) WordPress installation. The theme is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 (GPL-2.0).

3.2 Permitted Use

  • Install and use the theme on one website
  • Modify the theme's source code for your personal/commercial use
  • Create derivative works for your own site

3.3 Restrictions

  • You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the theme
  • You may not include the theme in a product or service for sale
  • You may not claim authorship of the original theme
  • You may not remove or alter any copyright notices

4. Payment & Delivery

All payments are processed through Gumroad. Upon successful payment, you will receive an instant download link and a receipt via email. We do not store any payment card information.

5. Updates & Support

  • Updates: You receive lifetime updates for the version you purchased, delivered through Gumroad.
  • Support: We provide priority email support for installation, configuration, and bug-related issues.
  • Not included: Customization services, third-party plugin conflicts, or hosting-related issues are not covered by support.

6. Refund Policy

7. Intellectual Property

PlayByte, including its code, design, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of UddiCode. The GPL license applies to the PHP code; images, CSS design, and branding elements remain proprietary.

8. Third-Party Content

PlayByte integrates with third-party game APIs (GameDistribution, GameMonetize). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or licensing of games provided by these third-party services. Users are responsible for complying with those services' terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

PlayByte is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the theme will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every hosting environment or plugin.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UddiCode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of PlayByte, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
